How to record rebalancing of funds

I have an IRA in which I have invested in 3 mutual funds. When I set up the account in Moneydance, I entered the publicly traded funds and the amounts I had as of my last statement. Then, entered the total as my starting amount for the IRA account. That works fine. Question is, I've just rebalanced the 3 funds, moving amounts from one fund into the other two. How do I record this reallocation?

Thanks!

Eureka! The light bulb went off....do a buy and sell for each fund like they are securities.

    Doh!

Basically the funds are securities and this is the correct method.
