Phantom Stock Prices and Current Price differences
I am using MoneyDance 2017 (1584). Since the beginning of the year, I have noticed that some of my stocks have "phantom" prices in the graphs for the stocks. This also affects any graphs produced that contain the stock. The prices are not listed in the historic prices for the stock.
I have also seen times when the current price for the stock is wrong. This is similar to the report in discussion #1405 . I have also seen a wrong value show up in the historic prices for stocks. I deleted the ones that didn't appear correct.

Please update to the more current version of MD 2017 and see if that resolves your issue. You can download that from here:

There is an issue in that the security is held in the base currency of the data file instead of the selected currency of the security. This means that currency fluctuations are represented in the security graph. There is a ticket in for this.

I have cleared off all the old entries that appeared to be incorrect in both the stock prices and the currency exchange rates. I still have some items that the "value" is way off.
I am still testing to see if the problem happens again in the coming weeks.
