I love using Moneydance. Recently I've started investing in funds. Please add support for Bloomberg Stocks as Yahoo does not list the funds I am invested in. I am now considering moving over to your competitor Banktree. They support Bloomberg and Financial Times.

Kind regards,

Banktree already supports Bloomberg stock, Google Finance Stock and Financial Times stock as well as Yahoo Stock. Branktree allows you to select for each security you have the best download source, the one that woks for that security. Very Very flexible. Come on Moneydance if they can do it you certainly can, Support you loyal customers with this improvement so I and others don’t have to look up each security price online and add them manually using the extension security Price entry.

This improvement is more than ever needed as Yohoo seems to be getting worse!

derekkent23tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/421046312017-03-10T11:28:45Z2017-03-10T11:28:45ZSupport for Bloomberg Stocks

Hi Laurent and Derek,

Please accept my apologies for the delayed response. We hope to support downloads from Bloomberg Stocks in a future release of Moneydance but the time being your will be unable to download this information into Moneydance directly. The existing method to get this information is, as Derek pointed out, to manually enter these security prices.

There's an existing suggestion ticket in our ticketing system regarding adding the ability to download Bloomberg stocks. I've attached it to this discussion and the developers will be looking into it.

Please let me know if we can be of further assistance.

And please allow the selection of the source to be selectable individually for each security to get the highest number of hits as Banktree does.

derekkent23tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/421046312017-03-29T17:11:19Z2017-03-29T17:11:20ZSupport for Bloomberg Stocks

No offence, but you have been "looking into" the problem since 2010: http://help.infinitekind.com/discussions/general-questions/2242-upd...

Just say that you are not going to develop for reason X, which I'm sure it exists.

juantxorenatag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/421046312017-03-30T15:57:16Z2017-03-30T15:57:16ZSupport for Bloomberg Stocks

Hi,

There is no specific reason that we would not want to implement this feature. The addition of support for Bloomberg stocks is considered a feature enhancement rather than a bug. The suggestion ticket relating to this improvement remains open and will be considered for future versions of Moneydance.

This suggestion regarding Bloomberg stocks is not one that has come up often but by getting in touch regarding this, you have effectively added you 'Vote' towards this enhancements consideration. Hopefully a future version of Moneydance will include the ability to import Bloomberg stock prices.
