remove financial institutions from list
How do I remove them?

Hi Meade,
There is a python script to perform the removal of items in the 'Financial Institutions' drop-down list.
Take a look at this post from Moneydance support staffer Ian L:

The script offered there is for MD 2015 and newer.

I am using MD 2017.2 in Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.5. The Extensions Menu which the steps in the link asked me to go to in Moneydance does not exist in my version of MD and my operating system.

Hi Fixit Now,
The Python scripting interface is now built into Moneydance 2017. It it listed under the 'Window' menu bar item.
I just tried the script out (remove_one_service_2015.py) on my version of Moneydance 2017 and it is throwing an error.
Perhaps there is a newer version of the script for MD 2017.
I'll do a search of the forums to see if I can come up with anything.

Hi Fixit Now,
I can't seem to locate any newer versions of the remove_one_service script.
Like I said, on my version of Moneydance 2017.3 (1604) Windows 10 Home 64-bit, the script is throwing an error.
Does it work on your machine?

It does not. If I knew the name of the file where MD stores the bank name and user name I incorrectly selected when I set up online banking for one of my accounts I would find the file and delete it.
