Security prices have stopped updating using the quotes and exchnage rate add-in
I have used the security price and exchange rate add-in to automatically update these items in my portfolio for a long time and it's worked really well.
Now, over the last couple of days I get errors on updating security prices (exchange rates still work) saying "received response message - moved permanently"
Any idea of what's happening / how to fix it?

+1 This is important!!
It seems like Yahoo Finance may have changed the URL for where these are downloaded. I see another thread here that the UK stock prices have also stopped working for the same reason (I am trying to download US stock prices). This may be as simple as putting the new URL in the extension.

Take a look at this post from Moneydance developer Sean Reilly. He provides a downloadable new Q&ER extension (version 1001).
It has been my experience that it no longer throws an error when importing Historical US price quotes when used in MD 2017.

The new extension worked perfectly for me. Thanks, Kevin!
