Something that you could do is to generate an Investment Performance report and copy it to a spreadsheet.

You could generate the desired graph(s) based on the report data.

Copying to a spreadsheet is always an option. At that point, I would ask
why would I go through the pain of Moneydance's historical price plugin,
and just jump to a spreadsheet altogether.

For me, Moneydance should be as much of a one-stop shop as possible.
I like the privacy that Moneydance offers. The simpler that some process
is, the more likely I am to use it. Exporting to a spreadsheet doesn't
sound
fun, especially since I have all the data right there in Moneydance.

I guess writing some Python code doesn't sound fun either :) I just wish
there was a simple way to get some advanced charts in Moneydance given
that there's already a "database" that has the information I want in it.

Thanks,

For simplicity sake, the scope of Moneydance is limited. The copy to clipboard function is included to allow users to access to their transactions and account balances, so they could organize and analyse that data in any manner they wish.

I am sorry for any inconvenience.
