account is set up and which categories are being used. A screen
shot of the register would be helpful.</p>
<p>Also for rental income an asset account might be a better choice
than an investment account. You will have more leeway with the
transactions. You can also set up specific income and expense
categories specific to your rental properties.</p>

investment register to track income and expense. When you receive
monies from this income you would use a transfer action to move the
income into your checking. I have attached a screenshot
illustrating.</p>
