Removing Securities
I'm trying to remove some unused securities from an import from Quicken. When I try and remove it from the securities list I get a message "Cannot remove currency that is being used" which is pretty strange in itself. I have discovered this seems to be because it is linked to an account. So when Ive tried to remove the security from the account. I select Remove Security choose the appropriate security and press ok. I then get a message saying "Are you sure you want to delete account: " which clearly I don't. Is this message correct and it will delete the account or is it just incorrect like the first message seems?

Ive created a test file so I can test these issues without fear of causing havoc with the main file. The problem occurred because the import hasn't handled some transactions on investments correctly. It seems like Moneydance treats every holding with every institution as an "account". The message is clear in the test file because for obvious reasons I have used shorter names, its confirming the account and holding but the message must be truncated. So it doesn't delete the entire account just the holding.
