I have an investment with two securities within the register. I wish to view all of security one, chronologically, segregated from security two. It would seem that pressing the sort arrow at the top by the "Security" header should do the trick. The help site says that by right clicking I can also sort the register by "Account." Neither of these have sorted by Security. Sorting by "Account" makes less sense as there is no "Account" on the register page.

I am not support staff, just a user.

I think you are doing the right thing it just does not work.
I type in the name of the security into the search box, top right, to filter to see transactions for just one security.

    Hope this helps.

Thank you Derek, that did work.  As a former soldier I'm kind of used to these kinds of workarounds, government software, but it seem like this a fundamental level problem.  As I'm new to this program do you have to do this a lot?
If support staff are reading this...please add this solution to http://help.infinitekind.com/kb/register-and-transactions/sort-and-filter-the-register

For the most part it behaves as expected.
Not perfect, but not much is.
