Security price gets affected by base currency?

Hi I'm trying to add my one security under my Investments, and I've been able to produce the historic price correctly. The ticker is NASDAQ:TEAM (see attached for pictures). I can't seem to have the right price filled though, in the screenshot it says Price: 0.000016 USD. Even when I changed it manually, it kept on going back.

The true USD price in the screenshot is around 50 USD. I also set the base currency on SEK, hence seems like the screenshot's price is in SEK.

Do you know why this is the case?

    I am keen to hear the answer to this too. I am having a lot of issues with currencies and investment valuations. I have just lost 2 years of investment price history, by changing the base currency. The security accounts seem to reference the base currency, even when they are set to a different currency. price entries in security history are converted to the base currency, even when the security is set to a different currency.

    I changed the base currency to see if it enabled me to enter an investment account correctly. It did, but when I changed the base currency back to USD, it changed 2 years of security price history, so now I have no record of investment performance. I am not very happy about this, as you can imagine.

    Searching the Knowledge base, it seems this bug has been around since 2011, and has not been fixed yet. Come on guys! This currency issue is spoiling an otherwise good program.

    could that be the same issue I had?

    when you create a new security, MD does not ask the currency and automatically assumes your base. So whenever the quotes are downloaded the amounts are converted automatically.

    Check: Tools->Securities->[your security]->currency
    set it to the correct currency, and clear the history, then re-download.. Does that help?
