Hi

I am trying to post new investment accounts with various securities in MoneyDance and I keep running into walls on the initial entry of current shares, values etc. This does not seem intuitive to me. I must be missing a key procedure or menu item in the process. Can anyone point me in the right direction or to an online instruction?

I have MS excel or csv files with all the securities I'd like to load for the account which includes fields for ticker symbol, investment name, price/share, # of shares, current value, maturity date (if applicable), and maturity value (if applicable) but I can't seem to figure out how to configure the system to properly recognize this info.

Any help you provide will be most appreciated.
