I am unable to update mutual fund quotes and prices

I have obtain the necessary key from alphavantage. All I see updating are the exchange rates, no mutual fund quotes are updating that I have set up.

   Hi Maurine,

   I have to ask the obvious; Did you select 'AlphaVantage' from the relevant drop-down list in the Q&ER updater?

   If so, then provide the version and build number of Moneydance that you are using. (Moneydance menu bar > Help > About Moneydance)
   e.g. MD 2017.6 (1656)

   When update form within Moneydance, it tell me there is an error of obtaining the securities quote for the 3 securities. I have check the ticker symbols and they are entered correctly. I have gone directly to the yahoo finance website and the securities lookup for the funds is ok. I just cannot update the price quotes from with the software

   Hi Maurine,

   My first hunch would be that the AlphaVantage servers are probably overtaxed directly after the Market closes. Try again a little later and see if you have any better luck.

   I am not support staff, just a user.

   Can you post the three security symbols along with the fund names so that a check can be made to confirm they are supported by Alpha Vantage.
