Editing Security Type

I just started using Moneydance for Mac.
When I set up a security I mistakenly set a "stock" type instead of a "bond"
I tried to edit/change it from the Securities Detail screen, Actions, Add Security, and changed the type in the drop-down list.

It did not change the type, (as far as I can tell). And now no securities appear in the drop-down list in the Add Security window
Thank You

I am not support staff, just a user.

The route you are taking is the wrong route. Note in the dropdown in ACTION - ADD SECURITY only displays the securities that have not been added to the investment account.
Try selecting the security you want to edit from the dropdown in the Security Detail window then click EDIT SECURITY.

    Hope this helps.

Thank you Derek! Yes that is very helpful and cleared up my confusion.
It is now working as expected.
