Updating Fund Prices

As a relative newcomer to Moneydance I am still finding my feet. I suspect my question has been asked many times before, but I can't find an answer that fits my case exactly.
By updating to Version 2017.6(1656) I am now able to import share prices where there is a ticker symbol. That is good. However, I also have a number of investments in Funds and would like to import prices for those as well. I can find the data in Apps such as MS Money and Yahoo Finance so the information is available, it's just a matter of how to link them to the Q&ER extension. In the past with MS Money I think I used the ISIN number with a .L suffix, but that does not seem to work with the Q&ER extension.
Any ideas

Can you provide say three examples of funds you are trying to obtain prices for. The name of the fund and if possible its symbol even if is not working using the Q & ER extension. I will test and advise the best way forward.

That would be most kind of you.

    Try these:

    * HSBC American Index C Inc (F00000OOAZ.L) Try also:

    GB00B80QG490

    * Aviva Investors High Yield Bd 2 GBP Inc (GB00B3CGJJ86.L)

    * Jupiter European I Acc (F00000MWJV.L) Try also:

    GB00B5STJW84

The symbol is from Yahoo but seem to match the ISIN with a .L suffic. It is quite possible I am barking up the wrong street though and have the wrong symbol.

As a UK user I have given up trying to obtain UK funds prices from Alpha Vantage.
You seem to be in the same boat. None of your three examples are supported by Alpha Vantage.
Instead I use a stand-alone program and import the prices into Moneydance.
Using this program all three of your funds return quotes, see screen shot.
Take a look at this post, read the PDF and download the program using the link in the PDF and try it out for yourself. http://help.infinitekind.com/discussions/investments/3036-third-par...

    Post how you get on

    Hope this helps

Under TOOLS – SECURITIES – SUBJECT SECURITY – EDIT make sure the symbol is entered in TICKER SYMBOL box. No leading or trailing banks and in the same case and without any exchange extension e.g. “.L” Also make sure there is a unique entry in the SECURITY ID box.

    Hope this helps
