Stock prices have not updated since November 1st 2017
Can you explain this please, and what do I need to do to resolve it?
Also, Portfolio View is temperamental and does not always display the whole portfolio.

Hi Bob,
What version and build number of Moneydance are you using?
MD Menu bar > Help > About Moneydance
What version of the Quotes & Exchange Rates updater are you using?
MD Menu bar > Extensions > Manage Extensions > Q&ER version
Did you purchase Moneydance thru the Apple Store?

Quotes and Exchange Rates Updater: v1015 (Update from v1000)
Just did “Update Now” and got this message:
Security price update complete with 82 skipped, 32 errors and 0 quotes obtained
No to Apple Store, it’s running on Windows 10, possibly purchased on your website when still Windows 7 (but not sure of that).

Did you obtain the free, API key from Alphavantage and apply it to the Q&ER updater?
Also, with regards to the Q&ER updater, are the drop down lists set to Alphavantage?

No, I don’t think so.
Not sure I know who Alphavantage is or how to get key?

As Yahoo and Google have removed there free quote service Moneydance has been forced to switch to a new free provider Alpha Vantage.
When running the extension Q & ER v1015 you should see the button “Set API Key” click and then click on “Get Alphavantage API Key”. You will be taken to the Alpha Vantage site to obtain a free key. Enter this key into the extension and select Alpha Vantage as the quote source.
In some regions and for some types of securities Alpha Vantage provides a poor service. If you find that no data is returned for some of your securities then try the free stand-alone program to obtain quotes and imports this data into Moneydance ,

It surprises me that MoneyDance had not thought to advise their users about this.

If you find Alpha Vantage is not returning quotes on any of your Securities then do try the free stand-alone program and let us know how you get on.

Very interested in a fix to this issue! I'm not interested in daily security prices. Rather I want a quarterly update to my historical prices. Hence, Derek's stand-alone code is not useful. Now, all historical prices must be updated and imported one by one...Tedious. The Alpha Vantage option seemed hopeful, but is NOT working for me. Is anyone getting this option to work? If so, can you provide details?
I got the API from the Alpha Advantage site and set it and the source in the "Quotes and Exchange Rate" extension, but get no historical updates.
