STOCK PRICES ARE NOT UPDATING DAILY AS I REQUESTED
None of my stock prices for which I have entered symbols have not been updating daily as I have requested in my investment set-up. As I looked over each of the charts for my individual stocks, MD has not been registering daily stock prices since July of 2017. Have there been some MD updates that I have missed?

Hi Stan,
The latest build of MD 2017 is currently 1691.
The latest preview build of MD 2017 is currently 1701.
The latest build of the Quotes & Exchange Rates updater is v1020.
What builds and versions do you have?

Hello Kevin,
I have MD -11 which is apparently Version 2017.8 (1691) that is not the latest build. Is that my problem? I just requested a AlphaVantage (API ) code but it doesn’t seem to work.

Hi Stan,
I'm not sure what you mean by MD -11, but 2017.8 (1691) is currently the latest stable build of Moneydance.
Make sure that you're using v1020 of the Q&ER updater.
You should be prompted at some point to enter the API code into the Q&ER updater.
Be sure to set the relevant drop-downs in the Q&ER updater to Alphavantage.
Personally, I've given up on Alphavantage and the Q&ER updater. I've gone ahead with the system developed by the Moneydance users. It's far superior IMO.

@Stan: I second the suggestion by Kevin N to forget about the AlphaAdvantage approach and use the third party quotes downloader that refers to. It's extremely easy to install and use and it works!

I have released build 2110 of the Quote Loader (alternative to the Q&ER extension). This introduces automatic running. You can run the program daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly.
