Hi jchriswise,
What version and build number of Moneydance are you using? e.g. MD 2017.8 (1691).
(MD menu bar > Help > About Moneydance)
What build number of the Q&ER updater are you using? e.g. v1020.
(MD menu bar > Extensions > Quotes and Exchange Rates Updater)
It may help to troubleshoot if you provide particular ticker symbols.

Hi Kevin,
Moneydance 2017.8 (1691)
No build number mentioned on any choice in Extensions menu bar.
Ticker symbols not updating:
TWCGX
TWHIX
Switch to Google instead of Aphavantage?
Chris

Hi Chris,
From what I understand, it is imperative that you are using v1020 of the Q&ER updater in order for it to work with Alphavantage (see screenshot)
I'm not sure that the Q&ER updater even works with Google.
TBH, I've given up on the Q&ER updater and Alphavantage. I use the free, third-party downloader developed by Moneydance users. You can read up on it here. It looks overly complex but it's really not AND it works.

I tested your two tickers using rhumba (part of the free extension mentioned).

Hi Chris,
There is a PDF file attached to the link that I provided above. It has all of the information that you need to install and use the extension.
It also provides links to the 3 needed files.

I got it. Thanks. Ignore previous email. Got confused (easily done).

I am not support staff, just a user.
The PDF also contains a link to a YouTube video tutorial.
Take a look at that before you read the PDF.
Hope this helps.

Hi Chris,
Let them know how you like it. They put a lot of work into it and are actually adding more features. Just post any comments or questions to that thread. OK?
