I have several IRA, and other investment accounts. is there a way to just link each account to money dance and have it download the items- stocks, MF, CD's etc. in the account and update them periodically or does everything have to be added manually?

    It depends on your investment holder. I use Fidelity and I can direct connect to all accounts and download activities. But I'm sure there are others who only provide paper statements and limited web downloads.
