Fund Mapping

I have recently converted from Banktivity on Mac to MoneyDance on Linux. The export/import went about as expected (had to correct a few things). I have my doubts about the quality of data coming from Banktivity (have been having problems with how it keeps track of things). I am down to sorting out the investment accounts and have some problems with funds mapping properly.

The question is this: How to you "remap" the funds once you find errors? I have tried editing the security and changing the name, but now I have multiple securities with the same name. What is the safest way to "clean up" the securities and remove items you don't own.
