I'm a fellow user.
You can do everything with the trial version, the only limit is a 100 manually entered transaction limit.
A fellow user has developed an extension that can import miscellaneous transactions from an CSV file into Investment accounts but in generally CSV files and Investments do not mix.
CSV files really provide a table format that contains information. Investment accounts do not work like this, the action field determines what other fields are active and also what fields are mandatory, some fields are always optional so withing this environment a table structure cannot really be mapped to the records as it is not a consistent fixed format. Also the action field must be present and can only contain predefined values.
