Stocks and securities are not updating
I get a lot of "not found" in the updates. Is there something I am not doing that I should be doing?

Make sure you are running the latest build of 2017 at https://infinitekind.com/download-moneydance-personal-finance-software
To check the build, you are running see HELP – ABOUT MONEYDANCE. e.g. 2017.10(1706)
Also check you are running the latest build of Quote and exchange rate updater v1024.
There are two methods within Moneydance 2017 for obtaining security prices automatically.
The extension “Quote and exchange rate updater. For exchange rates use the source European Central Bank. If your securities are in the US try IEX Trading first, if that does not support a security try Alpha Vantage. Alpha Vantage also cover some securities outside the US, but is very, very slow.
If the Quote and exchange rate updater does not work well for you try the free third-party Quote Loader see post 236 in this thread http://help.infinitekind.com/discussions/investments/3771-third-par...
It has far wider coverage and is fast.
Download the PDF attached to post 236 and have a read. To get an overview take a look at the YouTube video by using the link in the PDF.

If you are using the Quotes and Exchange extension, and have followed the excellent advice above, please attache a screen shot of your extension window. I can try to determine if the issue is the extension or if the tickers are not being supported.

Hey Tom, as far as I can tell, my software is up to date. Not sure what you are asking me to send you but some on the enclosed list update and some say not found. TRBCX is one of them saying not found. Thanks for looking…

You still don’t say which version/build of Moneydance you are running, nor the build of Q & ER.
I ran a test with Moneydance 2019.1(1850) and Q & ER v1024 and Alpha Vantage. Your example ticker TRBCX showed as $0.00 in the Q & ER. This is a bug. Values are entered into history. See attached.
I also ran the free third-party Quote Loader and that’s a lot, lot faster with no bugs, also see attached.
I would expect the same results with Moneydance 2017.10(1706). Q & ER v1024 or the Quote Loader

I just tried to update TRBCX. I do not know why but this ticker is neither supported by Alphavanatge or the IEX trading. There seems to be some issue with certain exchange traded mutual funds, though I have yet to determine if its a pattern or random.
Many users have had good experience with the third party quote loader.
