I would suggest you provide a screen show showing the transaction in question, a picture says a thousand words and we can at least see what you are.

dwgtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/468494152019-01-29T08:58:01Z2019-01-29T08:58:01ZDividends no longer showing in Budget

It affects all dividend transactions! In the past month I've had over £1000 in dividends, but the green bar only shows £300.

mawigmoretag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/468494152019-01-29T11:01:27Z2019-01-29T11:01:27ZDividends no longer showing in Budget

Panic over, just twigged that the budget, Main_2 had an end date of 31/12/18 for some unknown reason.

Why does a budget have an end date anyway?

mawigmoretag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/468494152019-01-29T11:53:21Z2019-01-29T11:53:21ZDividends no longer showing in Budget

Budgets are normally set for a specific time period, after which they are analysed, reported on etc, you determine how you went and set a new budget for the next time period which is often 12 months, the time frame may be set to match when salary reviews happen for example.

FWIW your dividends are in the field they should be.

dwgtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/468494152019-01-29T13:41:55Z2019-01-29T13:41:55ZDividends no longer showing in Budget

I'm all for revising budgets as things change, but for things to quietly stop working just because some date has passed isn't good. Why weren't there flashing lights to say I need to set a new budget?

When you enter a new dividend transaction, the Fee Category field shows Investment:Dividends. The thing I've noticed recently is that there's also Dividend in the Category field under the stock name. The former disappears now, leaving the latter.

mawigmore
