Unable to Update Share Prices
I am trying to change the share price of a mutual fund ETF. I bring up Security Details, press History, then modify the Current Price in the "Currency/Security History" popup and the new price does not show on the Security Details screen. I have used Moneydance for several years now and have only just upgraded to version 2019. Could this be causing the issue.

You can use Command ⌘ instead of Control ^ on Mac

Please note that the problem appears to be with the version that was downloaded from the Microsoft store. I uninstalled the MS store version, then went to the Infinite Kind website and downloaded Moneydance 2019 from the site and reinstalled my user license. I was then able to modify the share price as was expected.

You don’t state what build of 2019 you are running? Just tested using 2019.1(1850) from https://infinitekind.com/preview
