Issues Handling Merrill Lynch Interest Transactions

I've recently converted to MD from Quicken, and it seems that MD Investment Accounts work differently than Quicken. For instance, on monthly interest payments, the transaction downloads as a BuyXFR. In Quicken, that would just take the transfer out of the account's cash balance. But in MD, it puts a corresponding transfer transaction in the first (alphabetically speaking) account in the "Bank" accounts list. That's completely wrong. I can't figure out how to handle these transactions given the Action options in the transaction, either. Does anyone have advice as to how best to handle these transactions in MD?

I basically reported this same problem on 4/24/19. Have you ever gotten a response from MD. This is a real bug in the program since its clear from the brokerage downloads that the income is correctly identified as Interest income generated in the Brokerage account.
