I was wondering if there is a way to group investment accounts together on the left side?

For example, With 1 investment site I have a person, RRSP and TFSA account. Instead of showing 3 separate investment accounts on the left side, is there a way to group them together under the bank name and have a drop down to see each account individually?

I am looking to try to clean up the numerous accounts different accounts that I have at different institutions.

The same goes for banks, instead of seeing each account separately, is there a way to group them under bank name??

Thanks

For Bank and credit card type accounts you can set up a parent child relationship.
Let’s, say you have a number of bank accounts. Some are current (Checking) accounts, some are saving accounts.
You want to groups these bank accounts under two headings. Current (Checking) Accounts and Saving Accounts.
Set up these to accounts under ACCOUNTS – NEW ACCOUNTS. Don’t make any entries into these accounts. Then for each account you want to group under these heading highlight the account in the side bar and click ACCOUNT – EDIT ACCOUNT. You can then use the dropdown to select the PARENT ACCOUNT. The parent account will then sum the total of all its accounts in its group.
You could make a banks name the parent account.

This feature is not available for investment type accounts.

Hope this helps

derekkent23
