Stock prices not updating

I am now manually entering my stock and mutual fund prices into MD. When I look at my summary page, the values shown for various stocks and funds do not reflect today's prices, but rather a day or two earlier. When I look at the price history, the correct data is there. Why won't the summary page (and others) reflect the4 most recent price?

What version and build of moneydance are you running. e.g. 2019.3(1870).
When you update the prices manually is this directly into a security price history window? Are you adding a dated price as well as updating the current price?
Have you tried the free third party Quote Loader to automatically obtain and update your stock and mutual fund prices for you?

The problem seems to be that the summary page doesn’t reflect the current
price even though the correct price is in the security history.

    Sorry.
    MD version 2019.1 (1855).
I am updating prices by manually entering them using the window I get after
going to Portfolio view, then clicking on History. The date is entered
automatically, being the current date. I confirm that the date is correct.
But when I look at my Summary page, the data is not using the current
    balance.

Firsts update to 2019.3(1870) from https://infinitekind.com/preview

Next when you update a security history price window change the value in the
"Current Price" to the new price, then click NEW to add a new dated price, correct date if required. Note its the Current Price value not the last dated price is the price that is used on the summary page.

Can I suggest you try the free third party Quote Loader to automatically obtain prices and enter them automatically into the associated security history price windows
    . For 2019 see post 145 at https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/discussions/investments/4039-quo...

So I installed the newer version of MD as well as Quote Loader. The MD
report continues to use the wrong date for reporting the value of
    investments. Any ideas why?

You were taking about the security prices on the summary page being wrong now you are talking about a MD report. Are you now taking about one of the Reports run from the side bar?
Perhaps post a screen shot of a security History window and a screen shot of the incorrect value for the same security, it might clarify things. See example screen shots, history window, summary page, net worth report.

Did you run the Quote Loader and did it find prices for your securities?
