Portfolio View

I transferred a file from quicken to use moneydance. When in "portfolio view" I have two issues... First the portfolio view is showing investments I no longer own, second several investments are listed multiple times.

For example I have AOL that shows a positive 100 shares and a negative 100 shares. I no longer own that security. How can I best remove that from portfolio view? Should I use the 'remove security' button to remove both positions from the portfolio view? Are there any issues I should be aware of before doing so?

Regarding investments shown multiple times, I have for example, several mutual funds that are listed multiple times where the sum of shares add to my total holding. In another case I have a mutual fund where there is a positive # of shares and a negative # of shares, which sum to my total holding. How can I combine these into a single listing per investment?

Thank you
