Sometimes mutual fund prices update, but most time they don't. All of my fund
are in Vanguard. The 2 EFT funds will update. but other don't. I have 6
accounts with Vanguard with 12 different type of funds all told If I can't
update each fund on a timely basis then I'd like to cancel the subscription to
Money Dance. I have been using the checking and saving account with some
degree of difficulty but seem to have found my way around. I 've
been a Quicken user for 25 years.

I am not support staff, just a user.

I assume you are using the Quote and exchange rate updater?

Can you provide say four ticker symbols and there associated security names so I can test.

    Hope this will help

I have found, by checking Yahoo Finance that most Vanguard funds do not
update until 6 -630p on the business day (other funds may get there
sooner, around 6:05p). Both the quote loader or the quote and exchange
updater depend on Yahoo Finance, so querying through either will give
the previous day's quote if performed before that time. You will also
find that going to the Vanguard site, they don't update their funds
quote until just past 6:30p! (Even though, if you have non-Vanguard
funds through the brokerage accounts, they get updated sooner.

I haven't used Quicken for 15 years (since I ditched Microsoft Windows!)
but suspect they are getting their quotes through another source, which
is paid through a subscription model.
