Getting ETF values downloaded properly
According to the HELP discussion one only has to put the
exchange id on the tail end of the ticker symbol. EG
Profunds Ultra Bear URPIX.VIX
Rydex Inverse S&P 500 2X Strategy RYTPX.IV
I have done that but don't see a new entry vs that which I have manually entered in the past. What am I doing wrong?

Tax the suffix off. I tried the ticker symbols URPIX and RYTPX. They both updated

OK Tom thanks. I did change the suffix and it appears that Rydex did update but Profunds still comes up with a 0.00001 value. I did exit and reenter and got the same appearance. Maybe over several days it will get corrected but I doubt it.
On a second note that I’ve already written MD about sometime ago. Look at the 2 transactions that have the same description and value but different dates. When approving the downloaded transaction with that on the transaction record it shows up as being slightly different as it is. But upon acknowledging and asking to ‘MERGE’ the sys ends up leaving BOTH transactions in the record. This isn’t good!!! And it does happen frequently. Am I the only one that sees this issue?

Sorry for the late reply. You can check the data retrieved by the quote and exchange extension by going to the Yahoo finance page for that security. At the bottom right of the page is a tool box with a link for a downloadable file that can be opened in a spread sheet app. this is the same file that the extension downloads and imports into Moneydance.
For the merge issue. the next time you download transactions and the issue occurs, go to the console window (help > console window) use the copy to clipboard function and paste the contents into a word app and attach to this thread.
Also make sure you are on the latest build for MD 2015 (1217) which you can download from here: http://infinitekind.com/preview
