if i have a dividend/interest i receive against an investment but the dividend/interest is received in my current account, how can i flag it in such a way that i can later run a report to show me the % return on that investment?

    I'm a fellow user.

Most of my investment dividends get posted to my Cheque account by the company concerned. However to ensure that It posts against the security concerned and I can do all the reporting I need I post it through the appropriate Investment account using a DivXfr transaction. So the funds pass through the investment account but end up in my cheque account.
