How to balance stock investment account?
I am trying to balance my TD Ameritrade stock trading account. When I input the initial balance I get the total balance to sync. BUT...During the next download its off significantly. I noticed that there are two categories 1 my stock positions and 2, my Cash amount. So I tried to input a new transaction to cash for the difference and now cash balances but when I adjust the initial starting amount, the cash amount is wrong. Can anyone help me? Thanks in Advance.

I am trying to balance my stock trading account. When I created the initial account and did my first download the total revenue balanced. During the next download the total Balance is off. I can adjust the beginning amount to balance the total, BUT>>> There are two balances added together to form the Total, they are stock positions plus Cash = Total. I need to make two adjustments to get the total to balance Stock + Cash, but I can only make 1 adjustment to the Total. I tried to input a new transaction to cash for the difference and now cash balances but when I adjust the initial starting amount, the cash amount is wrong. How can I fix the balances so they both rteflect the correct balances going forward.?
