Ok, what am I doing wrong? I have only recently started using Moneydance so have a reasonable amount of history and some learning mistakes one of which was to set up my securities using average cost so I am trying to switch over to lot matching. My first security has 3 sales that completely clear my holding. I pick the first sale which handily is completely satisfied by 2 purchases. I allocate these, the pane indicates no more to allocate but when I press ok it says 'you have allocated an incorrect number of shares' and now shows the number next sold as a new balance but if I then also allocate these I get the same message but now with the first sale balance i.e. it has cancelled the first lot matching I did. Can anyone help me please
