Security's Value Suffix Field

i updated to build 3034 on Windows 10 last week.
Previously, the Security Value Suffix (in which I enter a bonds maturity date) used to show on the Summary Page. Thus, I could see all bond maturity dates on the Summary Page withou having to search through reports for them.
In build 3034, the Value Suffix has been replaced with the word "Shares" for all securities on the Summary Page.
The Value Suffix showing the bond maturity date continues to report OK on the Account List and some other reports.
Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

    I'm a fellow user.

It appears to use of the word "shares", whether something is set or not as the suffix value is now the standard behaviour. I do not known if this is intentional or not.

    Thanks dwg.
I suspect that this is an unintentional change. It makes no sense to use the word "shares" when many securities are not shares. The Change Log makes no mention of this change, so there is no advice of intention.
The Security Value Prefix field shows on the Summary Page, and it is reasonable to expect the Security Value Suffix field to also show on the Summary Page (as it did in build 2006).
IK - unless there is a good reason to make this change, please reverse it.

I can leave the suffix in an Edit Security window blank of fill in a work, the result is the same, on the Summary page in the Security Price section each security has no suffix. I don’t see the word Shares?
Went back to build 2006 with the same results.
Are we talking about different things?
The suffix does appear in reports.

I see Shares. I believe it's hard coded... See attached

OK, I agree, I was looking at something different.
On the summary page under the Investment Account section the individuals Securities are not picking up the suffixes set for them when using 2021.1(3034). They are just using the word Shares which I agree is wrong.
    It’s a bug.
    Build 2006 does work correctly.

    Hi All,

Thanks for pointing this out! I don't think I made this change intentionally so the next build will use the suffix from the security's settings.

This appears to be fixed in build 3037 (according to the readme). I can confirm that it's correct in build 3039, but it's not in current Mac build 3036 (so I assume it will make it back in when the Mac version gets released (again)).

Perhaps someone can test / verify the windows/linux version is ok in 3039 too?
