I have used the Stock Split button to record a reverse split. However, the cost basis and cost/share information is incorrect. How do I update that information?

I've found using the lot matching method helps MD get the cost basis correct with splits..

I searched and there are a lot of Lot Matching discussions -- could you please direct me to the most useful one. Thank you.

Sorry, I don’t know which ones. But in simple terms. Go to the investment account. Select the security. Edit the security. Tick the lot matching flag. At the popup lot matching window, match the buys and sells.

    File/export backup first.

You could always try this on a test copy first.
