It looks like folks have been asking for a way to change the number of decimal places for a security's fractional shares for at least ten years ( and others). It doesn't appear that this has ever been addressed but, if it has, does anyone have the steps needed to make the change?

Nope. Not possible. This is because MD stores the number as a whole number. Thus 1.234 as 4dpc is stored as 1234. The dpc flag is used to tell MD where the point is. Thus to make this example 5dpc, it would need to be stored as 12340. Probably easiest to create a new security, move the txns over to that new one.
