removing securities

what is the best way to remove long unused securities without messing up the account where they were bought/sold from

    You can’t. If you’ve used them in an account then they have to stay in an account.

    …. Unless you delete all the history…..

    Yeah found that out..what a mess. Thanks to the backup process allowing
    me to go back.

    I wish I could copy (or rename an account) so I can edit it, than kill
    the original.  Not that simple.

    OCD people beware 
