Alimentation Couche-Tard here in Canada making all it's shares into one single class. They use to have ATD.A and ATD.B on the TSX. I owned shares of ATD.B but they are combining and changing the symbol to just ATD.

What is the best way to handle this transaction or change in MoneyDance?

    Hi Dave,
Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.

In order to rename your security, navigate to the security via Tools –>Securities and double click on it. Select Edit, in the pop up window,.
Finally, simply amend the security as required. Please note: the security name will change throughout Moneydance.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions or need more assistance.

    Hi Maddy

Thank you for replying. Will I loose the financial history data for ATD.B when I rename it ATD ?

    I'm a fellow user.

As you owned just ATD.B shares then it is easy, rename as Maddy has suggested. It is just changing the name it has no impact on price history.
