Stock Chart bug after a Stock Split
On June 6, Amazon stock split 20-1. After entering that split in the Securities window for Amazon, While the stock price history table did not change, the stock price graph normalized past prices so that the graphed price was 1/20 of the actual historical price. So there was no drastic change in the graphed value for June 6. That's all well and good.
However, a similar adjustment was not applied to the daily volume; there is a huge spike on June 6. Shouldn't a similar modification occur, so that the adjusted volumes graphed before June 6 are 20 times the actual volumes?
The graph as of EOD June 6 is attached.
I assume this problem occurs for all stock splits, but the scale of the Amazon split magnifies the illustration.
