I wonder if there is a setting that will enable quote loader to run every time one opens Moneydance. There may be a setting for this and I just can't find it. I see the option for running on startup but the options only shows daily or certain times.

I log into Moneydance many times in the morning and in the evening as well. When I log in during the morning it runs automatically. If I log in a second time during the day it does not.
I have all my investments loaded and I check them for over night results. I also check them in the evening after the marker closes. On the second log in, I have to run it manually which is Okay but it would be nice not to have to run it manually. An option to run on startup at all times would be great.

Have I missed a setting or is that just the way it works? It is a great program and works great for me.

Thanks Cliff

    Hi Cliff

You have not missed a stetting. Currently Quote Loader can’t be set to run in the background each time Moneydance is opened in the same day. It will only auto run once on the first opening of Moneydance or at a pre-set time. If Moneydance is opened and the due Time of Run, on the due date has passed, Automatic Update will start.

    Hi Cliff

If a user want to run Quote Loader multiple times in the same day they usually want the Quote Loader window open so they can see the % change in the security price since Quote Loader was last run.

Thanks for the replies. I thought maybe that would be the case.
