My Investment Account (ABC) Statement shows a current Dividend for a security (XYZ) of $100, that was totally sweep into my Money Market Fund. (total 2 transactions)

I have not been able to determine how to enter the Transactions into my Moneydance (ABC) Investment Register.

Appreciate an answer to solve this situtation.

It really depends on how you have decided to handle the Money Market Fund.

If you have decided to just handle it as a cash balance in the Investment account you enter a Dividend transaction against XYZ and it increases the cash balance in the Investment account.

If you have decided to handle the MMF as security then in additional to the Div transactions you enter a buy of the MMF security usually at a fixed price of 1.00 per unit for the amount of the dividend.
