sale of shares
I recently sold some shares in a mutual fund which I have purchased in separate lots through dividend reinvestment over many years. In entering the gross sale I am asked to select which specific shares are to be included in the Sale. I find no opportunity to select a method such as FIDO or average. Instead it appears that I must type in a number for each purchase lot. Am I missing something? Is there no way to select whole purchase lots other than typing in the lot size.

Correct. It’s all manual in MD. (Unless you use toolbox and it’s feature to allocate based on FIFO).
