This is correct.
You have a Moneydance 2022 license which means it is valid for Moneydance 2022 and 2023.
The first release of Moneydance 2024 erroneously allowed some Moneydance 2022 users to upgrade with their existing license, this has now been corrected in Moneydance 2024.1.
This is a note from the change log:
***Please note that if you have not purchased a Moneydance 2023 or 2024 license, this update may require a paid upgrade. The previous update may have incorrectly run as a free upgrade in some situations.***

Upgrading is not required. You can continue to use Moneydance 2023.3(5064) for as long as you wish. You can find that at
https://infinitekind.com/download_2023
I would suggest you edit your message to remove your license number as this is a public forum.

In demo mode, there should be two buttons on the right - upgrade and enter license.
The download does have the license code still in it, but it considers it invalid for 2024.
If you hit the upgrade button, you should be taken to an upgrade page that already has the discount in place (since it knows you have a license from 2022)
Conversely, you can go to
https://infinitekind.com/update
Hope that helps.
