Moneydance Crashing
I'm a user since 2011.
Since upgrading to 2024 a few days ago, I have a single SellXfr transaction (from 09-2022) in a brokerage account that is causing the cost basis for all securities in the brokerage account to go blank. If I delete this transaction out, all is good.
If the transaction is present and I do any reporting related to that security, Moneydance will lock up with a hard reset of the Apple Computer being required. I've tried to split the Sell and Transfer (the Sell is causing the issue). I've deleted all transactions for this security and the security itself out of the brokerage account -- and re-entered them (no success). If I try and delete the security in its entirety, I get the following message - "Cannot remove currency that is being used". The security is an avg cost cost basis for what it's worth.

What exact build?
2024.1(5118) should resolve the issue.
Do you have Apple stocks with splits and buys/sells that cross the split date?

I'm on 2024.1(5118).
"Do you have Apple stocks with splits and buys/sells that cross the split date?" -- Yes, the transaction that is causing the issue is an Apple sale that crosses multiple split dates.

The fix for that has been built and tested. There is a build 5120 alpha, but you should only use this for testing

Any idea when the fix will be put into production?

Problems with the alpha builds are still being isolated and reported to the developer, so I suspect we will have to go through some more builds before a wider release is contemplated.
