I have inactivate a security to remove it from listings and clean up my investments.
However, now I want to activate one security but cannot find a way to do it. Is it possible?
If not possible, what is the option? Create the security again?

Securities are active/inactive within Investment accounts not in their own right.

Open the account the investment is in. In the securities detail screen select the security, on the top right hand side from the dropdown.

Click on the Edit Security button and in the window that comes up change the status to Active

    Hi jp

If dwg suggestion does not work, assuming a resent Version of Moneydance, try this:

Click TOOLS – ACCOUNTS in the list find your Investment Account, then the Security you want to make active. Double click on the Security and untick the INACTIVE box.

    Hope this helps.

    dwg,

I have the latest version of Moneydance 2024.2 (5172). Once I inactivated a security, it no longer appears in the dropdown on the top right side on the securities detail screen. So I cannot select it to edit.
