Incorrect historical prices

Hi - I have to manually input prices for an investment fund which I own. However, I am struggling with an issue which causes the historical prices that I had input in prior days change slightly.

For example, yesterday 21 April, I input a price of 1.46. When I go back to view historical prices today, the price has changed to 1.45893158. This happens to all prior day prices have also changed slightly. I have a attached a screen shot for your info.

   Hi Ben, I installed the latest preview (1199) but fix is not apparent. I entered the new close yesterday 1.451 but when I open MD today and view price history, the price for 22 April has changed to 1.45767188 which appears to be somewhat random - pls see screenshot attached

   Hi Raymond,

   Can you send me the output of your console log? This can be found by going to Help -> Console window in Moneydance, then clicking the "Copy to clipboard" button and pasting the output to us here.

   I'm sorry for my delayed response! Are you viewing the securities in your base currency, or in another currency? It appears that the decimals increase when the values are being calculated with an exchange rate.

   Hi Scott. My base currency is CAD but the investments in question are GBP denominated

   The investment account in which the funds are recorded was set up as a GBP account

   i have run into this problem as well
   It appears to be caused by day to day changes in exchange rates
   In my case my base currency is CAD, and my investment is USD
   My fix is to import the right exchange rate (BOC web site), and then import the the investment pricing (Yahoo finance) in your base currency. Proper format of the CVS file is key to making this work
   MD appears to apply the imported exchange rate to the imported price, and displays the right price in the native currency (in my case USD)
   While this works, it is very labour intensive .......there has to be a better way!
