I just purchased some crypto and the security defaulted to 5 decimal places. by crypto used 8 decimal places for the number of shares.
Is there a way to change the number of decimal places or do I need to delete all transactions, then the security and create it again?
When I go to Tools -> Securities and Edit one, the Max decimal places is greyed out and unchangable. -

I would suggest you look at using the Toolbox extension to change the number of decimal places.

I had some cleanup to do before I could edit that security, but it worked.
