I have just traded in all shares from a security and I have a cash balance in the register. How can I now transfer this cash balance into the Current Bank Account the proceeds of the sale will be paid to.

You have a couple of ways of handling this:

    1. You can use a SellXfr action which records the sale and then transfers the funds to the specified account.

    2. You can firstly enter a Sell transaction to record the sale, this will place the cash in the Investment account.

You then enter a Xfr transaction to transfer the funds to the desired account.

    Thanks.

I've managed to create the sale and I've now got a cash balance, however
I've tried both of those methods to transfer the balance over to a current
accoint but can't find a way of doing thus.

    Kind regards

If you have entered a Sell transaction and the funds are in the account then all is necessary is to do another transaction with an XFR action and in the Transfer field select the account the money is to go to from the drop-down list. Bank accounts are shown at the top of the list, scroll up if needed.
