    I'm a fellow user.

WiFi support ended around the time Moneydance 2015 was introduced. I believe it was found to be too problematic and that many of the problems related to the network environments it was being set up in to continue to try and support it. Dropbox syncing has been the main method since about Moneydance 2012. Syncing with shared folders is supported since Moneydance 2017 but it is not supported with Mobile type devices (IOS, Android)

I wish more people would speak up on this and let InifiniteKind know that we should have a method of syncing across devices - including mobile - that don’t require signing up to and accepting third party licence agreements and privacy policies.

I have a few times over the years and even delayed upgrading to 2015 because of this very limitation. I also investigated alternatives and would have jumped ship had I found an alternative that supported WiFi sync, my mix of finances in different currencies and investments, and macOS.

It’s a great shame that InfiniteKind chose to drop what was a great feature, trading customer privacy and choice in who processes their personal data, just to avoid some technical difficulties.

Agreed. I will not use Dropbox so it seems Moneydance syncing between my MacBook and iPad is out.

Out of interest what are your concerns with using Dropbox to Moneydance sync?
