Passcode Entry Too Slow

When the app starts, the passcode digits take seconds to appear after you tap them. People don't like to "type" things in without immediate feedback. I'm guessing that you are trying to do some initializing at the same time as the user is entering the passcode, but you may want to rethink that.

Here's what happens. I tap in the digits, then I think "Did I not tap hard enough?" Perhaps I tap again.
