Issue syncing ioS app with desktop via dropbox

Hi there

I am a new moneydance user, I am currently using the free trial. I have tried to sync my ioS app via dropbox, but it seems to be stuck on the sync screen? I wanted to explore the app to get a feel for it but this seems to be the only way to use it. I followed the prompts/instructions (File-syncing-dropbox) on desktop but it doesn't seem to be working (image attached).

    Hi Claire

    What version and build of Moneydance are you running, e.g. 2019.4(1896)?
    What is your desktop computers operating system?
    Have you installed Dropbox client app onto your computer, that is you can see the Dropbox Folder?
    As a first step in analysing your issue can you confirm that your computer has synced to your Dropbox folder in the cloud. Sign into your Dropbox account online. You should see a folder “.moneydancesync” which contains an alphanumeric folder with in turn contains other folders and files.
    How long did you wait for your data set name to be listed on your phone?
